Queens College offers a wide range of master’s degrees and advanced certificates in the liberal arts, sciences, social sciences, and teacher education, including the Master of Arts, Master of Fine Arts, and Master of Science in Education. Queens College also offers a post-master’s advanced certificate in School Building Leader, and post-baccalaureate advanced certificates in Applied Behavioral Analysis and in early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. Queens College is the only CUNY institution which offers a Master of Library Science and a post-master’s advanced certificate in librarianship, which are both The Queens College faculty of dedicated teachers and scholars includes world-renowned translator Gregory Rabassa and path-breaking biologist Corinne Michels. Numerous members of the faculty have received prestigious national and international fellowships, awards and research grants. The college’s scholarly resources and modern facilities offer graduate students quality education at a reasonable cost in a richly supportive learning environment. The college is a member of two on-line computer services that link universities, supercomputing facilities, and industrial research centers in New York State and serve as high-speed gateways to the Internet and other national computing networks. Queens College is home to the Louis Armstrong House and Archives, Colden Center for the Performing Arts, the Godwin-Ternbach Museum, and the Benjamin Rosenthal Library, which along with the college’s extensive physical education facilities, provide students with a well-rounded college experience.
