As you begin your career at Queens College, you will receive much information about academic requirements and educational offerings through the Academic Advising Center’s freshman orientation and transfer advising workshops. The center is your resource for academic information and the venue through which you will register for your first-semester classes. Throughout your tenure, academic advisors will work with you to check your degree progress and provide advisement for efficient schedule planning and registration. All incoming freshmen must sign-up for FRESHMAN ORIENTATION. During orientation we will discuss the college’s degree requirements and academic policies, and assist you with registration. The link below will provide you with both a schedule of Freshman Orientation dates and helpful information to prepare you for your workshop. Freshmen may link to: http://qcpages.qc.cuny.edu/Advising/freshman.html Transfer students are encouraged to attend a TRANSFER ADVISING WORKSHOP, which will help you make the transition to Queens College.
